JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Dr. William San Martín (Department of Integrative and Global Studies) is seeking a part-time research assistant to assist in the collection and analysis of data on the development of agroecological science, organizations and social movements in Latin America and their relations with other regions of the Global South.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Tasks could include 1) researching published documents and data; 2) drafting and curating synthesis reports; 3) quantitative and qualitative data analysis; 4) writing literature reviews and synthesizing findings.

Required background and skills include 1) research experience in environmental studies, international development, international politics, agriculture, socio-environmental conflict and justice, or related fields; 2) ability to manage project tasks; 3) excellent organizational and writing skills; 4) proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese.
