The Opportunity: Associate Director of Corporate Strategy

Location: Belgium (Remote flexibility available)
Reports to: Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy

As the Associate Director of Corporate Strategy, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping argenx’s global portfolio and driving corporate development initiatives. Collaborating cross-functionally, you'll synthesize insights, assess strategic risks, and guide decision-making to support our mission of delivering innovative therapies.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop business cases for key opportunities within our portfolio.

  • Analyze and articulate strategic risks, scenarios, and potential mitigation strategies.

  • Create visual insights to inform high-level decision-making.

  • Lead quantitative market and valuation analyses to assess risk and opportunity.

  • Support company-wide annual strategic planning.

  • Work cross-functionally with teams in Strategy, Science, Preclinical, CMC, Business Development, New Product Planning, Project Management, and more.

  • Drive long-term corporate forecasting.

  • Lead or support strategic, ad-hoc projects.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic analysis, strategic finance, or consulting in biotech, pharma, or healthcare with proven results.

  • Advanced degree in life sciences or an MBA (preferred).

  • Rare disease/high-value biologics expertise (preferred).

  • High learning agility, leadership, and innovative problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business-specific software.

  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
