The IT Vendor Management Lead establishes and implements hardware and software acquisition, protection, maintenance and retention policies, standards and procedures that are aligned with IT standards and strategy. The IT Vendor Management Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The IT Vendor Management Lead investigates available hardware and software products; evaluates and recommends products based on user requirements. Coordinates with the procurement function to interview, select, and negotiate with hardware and software vendors in order to purchase the appropriate equipment at the lowest cost. Reviews licenses and/or contracts to ensure that hardware and software equipment is covered by the contract and properly documented. Oversees the information technology vendor relationship and delivery of outsourced services. Supports the information technology function, evaluates vendor performance, needs assessment, spend optimization and risk management. Directs the lifecycle activities for existing contracts. Identifies new technology solutions and works closely with internal business partners to forecast future needs and to develop cost effective strategies aligned with business objectives. Drives the strategy and selection of vendors. Coordinates the negotiation and execution of contracts with the Legal and Contracts departments. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications
- a Bachelor's degree
- 8 or more years of technical experience
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
- Corporate IT experience with general networking and server knowledge
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- CompTIA Network+
- Cisco CCNA or CCENT

- WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$112,400 - $154,900 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
