This is a Contract Role About this Position

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer III to join our Sensors Team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge technologies in Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR). This role will focus on designing and implementing infrastructure to support Machine Learning (ML) development for sensor systems. You’ll work in a collaborative environment driving state-of-the-art advancements in sensing technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in ML systems.

Job Responsibilities

• System Design & Development: Design and develop systems to support Machine Learning algorithm development.
• Infrastructure Ownership: Build multi-modal input systems, quick prototyping tools, visualization frameworks, and ML architecture development systems.
• Distributed Systems: Design and implement distributed systems and pipelines for data management.
• DevOps Practices: Apply DevOps principles to ensure robust and scalable ML operations.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Work in a fast-paced environment to deliver efficient and effective ML infrastructure solutions.

Job Skills/Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
  • Expertise in distributed systems, DevOps practices, and infrastructure design.

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ML pipeline automation and data management workflows.
  • Prior experience building ML systems and collaborating with ML teams.
  • Familiarity with AR/VR technologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Estimated Pay Range:

• $75–$100 per hour, depending on experience and expertise.
