We celebrate individuality and recognize that diversity and inclusion, in all forms, is critical to success. It’s important to us that we recruit and develop as diverse a range of talent as we can, and we believe that everyone brings something different to the table – so we’d love to know what makes you different. Such differences may mean we need to make changes to our process to allow you the best possible platform to succeed, and we are happy to cater to any reasonable adjustments you may require. You will find the section to let us know of these at the bottom of your application form or you can mention it directly to your recruiter at any stage and they will be happy to help.

Role Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Risk & Regulatory Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with guidelines and standards of the main Financial Services regulation Framework (DORA, GDPR, AI ACT) and supporting enterprise risk management efforts.

As a Risk & Regulatory Consultant you will:

  • Support the remediation process, following guidelines and standards, with the necessary tool and technology to address management governance oversight and control of the contract remediation process.
  • Conduct reviews of existing contracts to identify inconsistencies, errors, and areas of non-compliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to remediate contractual deficiencies and mitigate risks.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to explain remediation plans, and work with legal counsel to draft amendments, addendums, or new contracts as necessary to address identified issues.
  • Develop and oversee risk strategies, particularly in the area of Operational and Contractual Deficiencies Remediation (ODCR).
  • Support business units in identifying and assessing non-financial risks while monitoring and challenging the first line of defense.
  • Conduct second-line monitoring activities in line with the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, such as SOx controls, Key Control Testing (KCT), and Key Risk Indicators (KRI).
  • Monitor evolving data privacy regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate data privacy requirements into contract remediation and risk governance processes.
  • Provide guidance on handling sensitive data in compliance with privacy standards, such as GDPR or CCPA, and implement measures to mitigate data-related risks.

Skills and Experience

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex contractual documents.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance frameworks.
