Responsibilities:

Directs and oversees operations of registration activities for multiple outpatient surgery centers. The coordinator assists the Manager in the overall direction and control of the registration functions, operations, and personnel. Responsible for ensuring standards for quality and productivity are met while providing education to the staff. The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for providing operational support to several front office operations at multiple outpatient surgery centers.

Qualifications:

 

  •  a. B.S. or B.A. in Business or related field and two (2) years registration experience or equivalent receivables/management experience. OR: b. Associates degree in Business or related field and four (4) years registration experience or equivalent receivables/management experience. OR: b. High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) years registration experience or equivalent receivables/management experience or three (3) years supervisory experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience of direct employees.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of billing, insurance verification, and collection procedures, and a general knowledge of computers and computer systems.


PREFERRED:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • CHAM (Certified Healthcare Access Manager) or CHAA (Certified Healthcare Access Associate)
  • CPAR (Certified Patient Account Representative)
