Job Description

As a Property Management Assistant, you’ll be the linchpin in our guest communication strategy. You’ll work with state-of-the-art property management software, HostAway, to ensure seamless guest experiences. Your role involves managing inquiries, prioritizing urgent issues, and maintaining the delicate balance between automated systems and personalized service. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in the booming short-term rental industry while working remotely with a forward-thinking company.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to guest messages using HostAway software
  • Triage communications, escalating urgent matters to property owners
  • Handle specialized inquiries beyond automated responses
  • Maintain and optimize automated messaging systems
  • Ensure timely, accurate guest communication for exceptional experiences
  • Collaborate with property owners on urgent maintenance issues
  • Contribute to maintaining high guest satisfaction rates
Requirements
  • Experience in property management, hospitality, or customer service
  • Familiarity with property management software (HostAway experience a plus)
  • Excellent written communication skills in English
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Self-motivated with capacity to work independently
  • Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing time efficiently
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
  • Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
