Job description

FDA’s Traffic design team performs major traffic signal, lighting, signing and pavement marking, and ITS plans as a prime consultant, subconsultant, and in-house support. Currently, FDA is seeking a Project Manager/Senior Traffic Engineer for a full-time position in the Tampa office. If you currently have a position like this -- or are ready to move up to this position -- look at our exciting opportunity!

This position is responsible for developing signing and pavement marking, traffic signal, lighting and ITS plans; quality control reviews; supervision of others' work products; and marketing clients, including interviews and oral presentations.

Requirements

12-20 years of progressive design experience in Traffic Design and Engineering
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering
Florida P.E. professional registration
Recent Florida Department of Transportation experience
Project Management experience
OpenRoads Designer experience
Commitment to customer satisfaction and interaction with clients
Ability to lead and mentor staff
