FDA’s Traffic design team performs major traffic signal, lighting, signing and pavement marking, and ITS plans as a prime consultant, subconsultant, and in-house support. Description
Currently, FDA is seeking a Project Manager/Senior Traffic Engineer for a full-time position in the Tampa office. If you currently have a position like this -- or are ready to move up to this position -- look at our exciting opportunity!

This position is responsible for developing signing and pavement marking, traffic signal, lighting and ITS plans; quality control reviews; supervision of others' work products; and marketing clients, including interviews and oral presentations.

Requirements
  • 12-20 years of progressive design experience in Traffic Design and Engineering
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering
  • Florida P.E. professional registration
  • Recent Florida Department of Transportation experience
  • Project Management experience
  • OpenRoads Designer experience
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and interaction with clients
  • Ability to lead and mentor staff
