Summary: 

The Sales Enablement Manager will be responsible for equipping our sales team with the tools, resources, and training they need to effectively sell our products and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of sales processes. The Sales Enablement Manager will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and to drive sales effectiveness.  

  

This role reports to the Sr. Director of Commercial Operations and is open to remote or hybrid work arrangements.  

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Sales Training and Development: Design, develop, and deliver effective sales training programs. Focus on target vertical markets, product knowledge, sales effectiveness, and competitive differentiation. Content Creation and Management: Acting as a liaison between Product Management and Marketing teams, drive and inform the development of sales collateral for target audiences, including presentations, brochures, product sheets, and competitive analyses. Ensure that all materials are current and easily accessible to the sales team.   

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing to align messaging and campaigns. Collaborate with product teams to ensure that the sales team is informed about new products and updates.  

  • Sales Tools and Technology: Evaluate and assist with implementation of sales enablement tools and technologies. Ensure that the sales team is proficient in using CRM, sales analytics, and other relevant tools (e.g., Showpad or similar).  

  • Sales Support: Provide ongoing support to the sales team, including assistance with proposals, presentations, and customer interactions.  

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, including target vertical markets. Use this information to provide insights and recommendations to the sales team.  

  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives. Use data to make informed decisions and improvements.  

  

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.  

  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial equipment company, preferably within the compressed air industry.  

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies.  

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.  

  • Proven ability to create and deliver effective training programs.  

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or MS Dynamics.  

  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.  

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.  

  • Strong communication skills  

  • Ability to coach and lead employees  

  • Adaptable and resourceful 

  • Ability to collaborate well and achieve consensus with cross functional teams  

  • Biased towards action; takes initiative

For residents of New York City, New York, California, and Washington state only, as required under applicable pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position if filled remotely is $105,000-125,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi America’s variable pay program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
