Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled EBS Projects Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Projects modules and will be responsible for providing functional expertise, implementation, support, and enhancement of our project management systems. This role requires close collaboration with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective use of EBS Projects functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Projects modules, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management, Project Resource Management, and Project Contracts.
  • Work with business users to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend best practices for leveraging EBS Projects functionalities.
  • Configure and customize EBS Projects modules to meet business needs, including defining project structures, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management processes.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICEW) and collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and support end-users during the testing phase.
  • Provide ongoing functional support and maintenance for EBS Projects systems, including troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and performing upgrades.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users and super-users.
  • Ensure that all functional documentation, including configurations, process flows, and training materials, is complete and up-to-date.
  • Stay current with new features and functionality in Oracle EBS and recommend improvements and optimizations.
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Projects functional consulting and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS Projects modules, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management, Project Resource Management, and Project Contracts.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS R12, including implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Oracle E-Business Suite certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM) or other cloud-based project management systems.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with data migration and integration projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of Oracle SQL and basic technical concepts related to EBS.
