As part of icare’s major reset to improve recovery and return to work outcomes for injured workers, DXC has commenced managing workers’ compensation claims in New South Wales.
Join the DXC team and contribute to bringing DXC’s claims management expertise to icare and the people of New South Wales.
The Case Manager will assist and support injured worker’s return to work through the delivery of person-centred case management to ensure entitlements to compensation are made appropriately. Dealing with internal and external stakeholders is paramount to solid and sustainable outcomes.
Responsibilities and duties
Assessing and determining liability on claims.
Preparing for, attending and performing at claims reviews highlighting your excellent claims strategies, results and
communicating further with your stakeholders.
Assist workers in returning to work and manage chronic ill health through person-centred case management.
Ensure entitlements to compensation are made appropriately and timely
Required skills, experience and qualifications
Experience as a Case Manager with the NSW Workers Compensation Scheme, ideally in Return to Work or Long-Term Case Management
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Decision making, negotiation and influencing skills
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work with different IT applications.
