Summary:
The Director for Customer Solutions is responsible for leading a team that is focused on growing adoption of the Baxter Infusion Systems portfolio within acute care hospitals and driving software/interoperability selling and relationship building with C-suite executives.
This role will manage the success of Healthcare Solutions Executives and Technical Solutions Executives to ensure critical components of sales processes are in place to secure a high win rate.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a successful history of managing a team that works within a complex sales cycle and calls on clinical and technical executives within large organizations. Experience managing a team specializing in medical device sales and/or software in healthcare is required.
- This individual will develop/execute strategies that improve our win-rates at competitive accounts as well as drive adoption of Baxter’s newest technology within the Baxter base.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance, Sales Training, and Medical Affairs in both a direct and matrix environment is a requirement. Strong collaboration with other Baxter businesses and the Corporate IDN organization a requirement.
- The ideal candidate will have a track record of achievement in building high performance teams and sustainable sales growth as well as a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire large teams.
- Knowledge of the US hospital market is required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies that grow the business through utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to develop short- and long-range goals and track progress
- Achieve the annual sales and pre-tax profit expectations and manage expenses.
- Effective deployment of human and financial resources.
- Build a high performing diverse organization with a cohesive team of leaders through coaching, counseling, and empowerment.
- Define and implement sales programs that motivate the field teams to achieve their business targets and maximize participation.
- Contribute to the development of sales/management training programs that enable staff to realize their full potential in delivering business targets.
- Ensure alignment with legal, commercial operations, marketing and finance.
- Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage key customer relationships
- Strong data analytics capabilities
What you will bring:
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
- Ability to promote Baxter Culture through positive ongoing customer relations and compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Effective administrator who efficiently manages time, resources and workload
- Comfortable leading through ambiguity and delivering results
- Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills including engaging people and leading positive change.
- Leadership experience launching and/or using sales automation and CRM tool

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is US $184,000 - US $ 253,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and equity.
