Job description

Sr Software Engineer
Bellevue, WA (onsite 5 days a week)
12+Month Contract

Client is seeking a skilled professional for an onsite role, 5 days a week. The position involves developing and deploying adapters/platforms, monitoring pipelines, and troubleshooting Unix and network issues in a lab environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy adapters/platforms using Perl, Python, and Shell scripting.
  • Monitor pipelines running in the lab.
  • Troubleshoot Unix and network issues.
Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

  • Proficiency in Perl and Python.
  • In-depth knowledge of Unix, including troubleshooting Unix and network issues.
  • Shell scripting expertise.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Hadoop and Kafka.
  • Understanding of the network/telecom domain.
  • Experience in web development.
