What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Wealth CRM team. You’ll be working at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems. As a Salesforce DevOps Engineer, you’ll assemble, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience across the applications that your business supports. You’ll lead the planning and strategy for the DevOps efforts required to ensure that the team deliverables are met.

How you'll succeed
Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design deployment pipelines, repositories, enhance branching strategies, manage source control, ensure appropriate code scanning methodologies are implemented, configuration management, multi-branch release management, lead Azure Devops deployments and SFDX deployments.
Strategic planning - Develop multi-year Devops roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
Leadership skills - Act as the technical team lead and run improvement sessions with the wider team to ensure the project deployments are on track to meet goals. Support and mentor intermediate and Senior Devops professionals by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.
Who you are
You can demonstrate 5+ years experience in: Bitbucket, SonarQube, Apex PMD, CI/CD, SFDX, Saleforce scratch org, Powershell, Sandbox administration.
You have a strong understanding of Salesforce apex, profile, permission set to resolve merge conflicts.
You have experience in Azure pipeline creation, artifact creation, version control. It is an asset if you have an understanding of integrating Azure pipeline with Salesforce, Databricks an other external systems and deep understanding of code promotion, branching strategy, repository security model.
