We are looking for an Associate Director IT for a leading digital lending platform.
Job Profile:
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance the organization’s IT capabilities.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals, including managers, technicians, and support staff. Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and provide guidance and support for professional growth.
IT Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of the organization’s technology infrastructure, networks, systems, and applications. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective measures.
Budgeting and Resource Management: Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the IT budget. Optimize the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and software licenses, to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Vendor Management: Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts, monitor service level agreements, and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.
Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the desired objectives. Define project scope, allocate resources, manage risks, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Information Security: Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization’s data and systems from unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats. Stay updated on the latest security best practices and regulatory requirements.
User Support and Training: Collaborate with the IT support team to provide timely and effective technical support to end-users. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees’ IT skills and promote the effective use of technology.
IT Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies related to IT. Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, including risk management and audit processes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other departments and senior leadership to understand their technology needs and provide guidance on leveraging IT to achieve business objectives. Build strong relationships and communicate IT initiatives and achievements to stakeholders.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in IT management roles, with increasing levels of
responsibility.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. 14. In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with
stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Sound understanding of information security principles and best practices. 18. Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP) are desirable but not mandatory.
