Job description

Software Developer
12+Month Contract

This role involves both development and testing of core networking protocols with a focus on proving and validating RFCs (Request for Comments). The position is onsite for three days per week and requires expertise in networking protocols and experience with IETF standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and test core networking protocols, ensuring compliance with RFC standards.
  • Design and implement conformance tests for specific RFCs.
  • Conduct protocol testing for TCP, QUIC, DNS, DHCP, ARP, and routing.
  • Utilize Python, C, or Swift for development and testing tasks.
Requirements
  • Strong experience with networking protocols (TCP, QUIC, DNS, DHCP, ARP, routing).
  • Deep knowledge of RFCs and experience with IETF standards.
  • Demonstrated experience developing conformance tests for RFCs and executing protocol testing.
  • Proficiency in Python, C, or Swift.
  • Ability to work onsite three days per week.
