Location: Remote USA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Medical Outcomes & Value Liaison is responsible for acting as an unbiased scientific and educational resource to Key Decision Makers within managed care organizations, integrated delivery networks, Criminal Justice Systems, and Government Affairs. Additionally, the Medical Outcomes & Value Liaison will work within their assigned ecosystems with their Market Access Account Director colleagues to foster relationships with Managed Care Organizations, Health Systems, Criminal Justice, and Population Health/Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) External Experts (EEs) with the goal of improving patient health outcomes. This position is field-based and is responsible for stakeholders on regional and national levels. The Medical Outcomes & Value Liaison works under the departmental guidance of the Director of Medical Affairs within United States Medical Affairs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The responsibilities of the Medical Outcomes & Value Liaison include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide comprehensive, accurate, fair balanced, objective, scientifically rigorous information and appropriate product and disease state education to health care decision makers (HCDMs) in compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Communicate approved clinical information when appropriate to targeted decision makers (Pharmacy Directors, Medical Directors, Case Managers, Clinical Pharmacists, Key Decision Makers) within accounts to ensure unrestricted access to treatment that is in line with Indivior’s mission statement.
  • Collaborate with and ensure effective communication with Market Access Account Directors and HCDMs to ensure strategic alignment and effective communication of the clinical strategy covering all books of business.
  • Respond to unsolicited requests for medical information from Market Access personnel in a timely manner and ensure all account scientific exchange needs are met from a clinical and medical education perspective.
  • Provide account relationship support to the Market Access Account Director teams by identifying and developing relationships with key decision-makers within managed care organizations and other institutions that purchase or manage the use of Indivior products.
  • Provide support to Indivior Government Affairs team.
  • Provide support to National and Regional Conferences throughout the year.
  • Support the development and review of medical communications materials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Doctoral degree preferred (PharmD, P.A., M.D., D.O., NP or equivalent).  Prefer pharmaceutical company experience in a similar role.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Three years minimum experience in the managed care pharmacy field.  Experience as a pharmaceutical Managed Care or Health Outcomes Medical Science Liaison in a pharmaceutical company preferred.

License/Certifications: Appropriate for degree

Travel: Must be able to travel by air and vehicle (valid US driver’s license and clean driving record) up to 70% of time. Must be able and willing to work occasional weekends and evenings.

  • Proficiency with the utilization of computer and iPad applications, including the Microsoft Office platform (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel, OneNote) and experience with CRM systems.
  • Flexibility to work some nights and weekends as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of geographical Region’s accounts as well as National Accounts. Thorough understanding of the dynamic payer landscape and healthcare practice issues highly desired.
