DIRECTV is seeking a Sr. Marketing Research Manager to join our CX & Research team. The CX Research team is part of the broader Research Department at DIRECTV, which conducts market research, explores consumer insights, and tracks competitive intelligence. This strategic leader will be responsible for supporting primary research programs to aid executive leadership in assessing DIRECTV’s value proposition and analyzing new video business initiatives. Specifically, this position will focus on our Voice of the Customer (VOC) transactional research that spans our agent and technician interactions.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Manage the operational execution of the DIRECTV VOC program including managing stakeholder requests, user maintenance, dashboard maintenance, troubleshooting file quality, etc. to ensure high quality output and timely delivery from research.
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to ensure strong vision of strategic direction, staying agile to changing needs, and keeping VOC program up-to-date with upcoming transitions.
- Serve as an internal subject matter expert on the VOC program and Qualtrics capabilities.
- Support the execution of ad hoc research projects including survey programming and testing, data collection, as well as analysis and reporting.
- Manage of multiple projects in the field, ensuring all are progressing, and providing timely communication with stakeholders on progress.

What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelors/Undergraduate Degree preferred.
- Qualtrics Certification required.
- Must be knowledgeable on project management support tools (e.g. Asana, Coda, etc.).
- 3 - 5 years of experience working in market research or consumer insights.
- Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Collaborative working style and strong listening skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems/issues/concerns.
- Solid organizational skills and detail orientation.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $87,400 - $158,700
Low (N1): $87,400 - $131,100
Mid (N2): $92,000 - $138,000
High (N3): $101,200 - $151,800
Top (N4): $105,800 - $158,700
