Job Summary
Join our Member Services Platform team as a 2025 summer intern. The intern will have the opportunity to work alongside our software development teams in a Scaled Agile environment in support of our Sales, Service and Marketing teams. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to the Salesforce ecosystem as well as the opportunity to work with Microsoft .NET developers.

The Summer Internship Program at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield is a key source for identifying, attracting and developing future talent within our company. We are seeking self-motivated candidates who possess a strong technical aptitude, keen analytical, problem-solving ability, excellent communication skills, and leadership skills.
This program is a great way to gain a head start on your career by working on meaningful projects, learning valuable skills, connecting with employees and managers throughout the company, and potentially building a future career at the company. Through hands-on relevant work experience, the internship program will allow the student or graduate to learn the business of Arkansas Blue Cross.
Interns will receive professional coaching and participate in team building exercises. Weekly leadership forums are required where the intern will participate in open discussions regarding the corporate business and culture.
Full-time Arkansas BlueCross BlueShield employees are not eligible for internships. Reference letters are not requiered.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Intern I
1. Sophomore year in college (At least 30 credit hours but fewer than 60 credit hours).
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
3. Two (2) letters of recommendation. (At least one from the attending school)
4. A minimum of 6.0 college credit hours in one of the requested disciplines.
5. Intern must live in Arkansas during the internship program (Relocation expense will not be paid.) Due to pandemic, remote opportunities are planned for 2022.
Intern II
1. Junior year in college (At least 60 credit hours but fewer than 90 credit hours).
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
3. Two (2) letters of recommendation. (At least one from the attending school)
4. A minimum of 12.0 college credit hours in one of the requested disciplines.
5. Intern must live in Arkansas during the internship program (Relocation expense will not be paid.) Due to pandemic, remote opportunities are planned for 2022.
Intern III
1. Senior year in college (At least 90 credit hours).
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
3. Two (2) letters of recommendation. (At least one from the attending school)
4. A minimum of 18.0 college credit hours in one of the requested disciplines.
5. Intern must live in Arkansas during the internship program (Relocation expense will not be paid.) Due to pandemic, remote opportunities are planned for 2022.
Intern IV
1. Bachelor’s degree in requested discipline or a related degree if applicable
2. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
3. Two (2) letters of recommendation. (at least one from the attending school)
4. Intern must live in Arkansas during the internship program (Relocation expense will not be paid.) Due to pandemic, remote opportunities are planned for 2022.
