Job description

Sr. Product Line Sales Manager - Digital Systems

We're growing and looking for a Sr. Product Line Sales Manager to join our team!  As a member of the Curtiss-Wright Plant Information Management & Controls business unit you will be responsible for driving sales and new orders for our plant process computer and digital control systems customer base globally, to include being responsible to manage the company’s sales for the R*TIME/DCS technology platform serving the Nuclear Industry. In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying new application sales opportunities, nurturing existing customers and engaging industry to represent Curtiss-Wright solutions and technology in a highly regulated environment. Your ability to understand customer needs and align them with our solutions will be essential in driving successful business outcomes.

Location: Idaho Falls, ID or Mid-Atlantic Region (lower Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland) with the ability to travel up to 50%.

Your Challenge:

  • Developing sales plans, plan execution, and the ability to team with professionals to deliver results.

  • Identify and cultivate all sales opportunities with existing and new customers by developing an in-depth understanding of customer organizations, as well as their technical and commercial needs.

  • Manage existing sales accounts to meet or exceed annual financial plan objectives.

  • Prepares and delivers customer presentations for the Plant Optimization business line.

  • Identifies key decision-makers within the customer organizations.

  • Perform all sales related functions with purchasing, engineering, quality and finance for all customer locations.

  • Actively leads program marketing and new launch activities.

  • Prepares proposals and presents formal offerings to customers, follows up through PO acceptance.

  • Participates in Trade Shows, Sales Meetings, and other activities as required to promote Curtiss-Wright products.

  • Communicates customer activities to management through both verbal and written reports.

  • Provide input to support the annual sales planning process.

  • Travel up to 50%.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • 10+ years experience selling engineered products or equivalent in the power production market.

  • Strong knowledge of the power plant generation market with a firm understanding of nuclear industry regulation.

  • Business acumen and understanding of technology adoption and solution management concepts.

  • Proficiency developing and executing a technical services sales strategy.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and opportunity management practices.

  • Well-developed communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
