Overview:

GKG is seeking an Army Readiness Employment Specialist Lead to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • ARES Leads shall conduct briefings that relate to local and regional opportunities at Transition Points as desired or directed; Services and or briefings may be rendered in person, preferred, or virtually.
  • Be the technical advisors, communication center points, regional administrators, and provide a conduit to share best practices
  • These ARES will also ensure that all units assigned within their respective regions are briefed and receive official P3O publications, flyers, posters, and any other media related materials that highlight P3O efforts to support all USAR Soldiers and dependents
  • Brief their respective region’s leadership staff and other related USAR organizations on P3O related services and available opportunities that support Soldiers, Veterans, DAC, and dependents.
  • Shall actively engage Soldiers at transition points and MFIG to inform and educate them on opportunities ( i.e. educational credentialing, certification, volunteering, and/or employment) in local communities where they potentially will set up domicile after transitioning from active service.
  • Connect to potential local and regional opportunities, continued TAP services, and USAR tangible and intangible benefits. TRLs are to
  • Report how many Soldiers were assisted within the monthly
  • Formulate and maintain a close working relationship with ARCG to potentially improve strength readiness.
  • Report number of TAP briefings as well as breakdown of Soldiers, other services members, and dependents briefed as applicable.
  • Provide P3O support services to Soldiers transitioning into USAR units under their responsible commands. Document the number and amount of time spent with each Soldier and submit this data within the monthly reports.
  • Provide assistance with the management, oversight, guidance, and support of P3O programs in the furtherance of developing a private sector partner and/or collaborator.
  • Keep an active list of private sector partners to include POC information and current initiatives, programs and projects that help support P3O’s mission, strategic goals and This list must be readily available to P3O staff, FC, MSC, and RD commanders.
  • Provide monthly report that indicates outreach efforts with P3O industry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or related field from a college or university that is accredited by a national or regional agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Minimum (2) years of management experience.
  • Five (5) years of work experience in human resources related positions, public relations, career counseling, or recruiting/job placement.
  • Must possess demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in customer service skills, use of routine office equipment, Microsoft Office computer programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and web-based applications.
  • A NACI is also required for this position.
