Job Description:
Role Overview:
As a Software Tester Intern, you will be responsible for assisting our QA team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify, report, and track bugs, and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Review and analyze system specifications
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software development and software testing concepts
- Familiarity with various testing techniques and tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for technology
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Knowledge of programming languages
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Understanding of version control systems like Git
