What You'll do:

  • Design solution architecture in large or complex programs, including system and application designs, software and technical architecture, in accordance with strategies and objectives.

  • Provide expertise for IT staff on a variety of issues in software designs, system architecture and solution-oriented technologies.

  • Communicate with clients and analyses business requirements and processes; make recommendations, and leading in shaping future plans in solution architecture.

  • Oversee project outcomes, including infrastructure and software design; ensuring that each project phase meets overall requirements.

  • Plan, establish, enhance, and maintain complex technical solutions.

What You’ll Be Helping Achieve:

Lead a diverse team of technical resources to deliver and maintain multiple mission-critical web-based applications for our government client to request and receive information from state entities. This information is required to be collected to meet federal regulations and mandates and maintain key American infrastructure.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Azure Solutions Architect certification.

    • Must be able to travel quarterly to the Northern Virginia/Washington, DC metro area.

    • 5+ years applying IT systems security methods and techniques to systems designs.

    • 3+ years proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on Microsoft Azure Cloud PaaS and SaaS offerings.

    • In-depth knowledge of system architecture principles, including the design of scalable, reliable, and secure systems.

    • Awareness of security best practices and the ability to design solutions with a focus on security. This includes encryption, access controls, and identity management.

    • Proficiency with Azure DevOps and DevSecOps principles and practices. This includes continuous integration, continuous deployment, and collaboration between development and operations teams.

    • Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting. This includes tools like Selenium, NUnit.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Bachelor's Degree

    • Okta Certified Consultant certification

    The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

    $103,327.00 - $182,983.00
