Title: Fulfillment Planner 

FLSA Classification: Exempt

Department: Operations

Reports to: Fulfillment and Warehouse Operations Manager

Salary: $65,000- $75,000+ bonus



Job Summary:

The Operations Fulfillment Planner is a full-time opportunity with an emphasis on data management, 3PL, Excel functionality, and working with remote multinational teams. This position supports the Operations Team by assisting with inventory management and team cooperation.
 
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
 
Duties/Responsibilities:
 
•    Inventory Management (safety stock, monitor product life cycle, FIFO plan)
•    Warehouse Management
•    ASN/Inventory Tender Management (MX/US)
•    Claims - Damaged Goods Management
•    ERP + TMS Management (MS Dynamics Business Central, Turvo)
•    Border Processing skills
•    Vendor Management (3PL)
•    Return Merchandise Process (RMA) - Order Corrections
•    Data mine + Monitor Cost of Goods Sold metrics
•    Utilize appropriate communication and escalation techniques to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner
 
 
Required Skills/Abilities:
 
•    Inventory Management Experience: Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, including inventory control, demand forecasting, and stock replenishment strategies. Proficiency in optimizing inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs.
•    Data Mining: Strong data mining skills, with the ability to extract, analyze, and
interpret data from various sources. Proficiency in using data analysis tools to make data-driven decisions and identify trends and patterns.
•    ERP and TMS Management Systems: Experience in managing and utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to streamline operations, track inventory, and optimize transportation logistics.
•    Order Corrections: Ability to identify and resolve order discrepancies and errors
promptly and efficiently. Experience in implementing corrective measures to prevent future order issues.
•    Vendor Management: Strong vendor management skills, including the ability to
collaborate effectively with suppliers and vendors. Experience in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely deliveries.
•    Supply Chain Knowledge: An understanding of supply chain processes and best
practices, including order processing, warehouse management, and distribution logistics.
•    Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective
collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders. The ability to communicate order requirements, inventory status, and fulfillment updates clearly and concisely.
•    Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address
operational challenges and implement process improvements. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues within the fulfillment process.
•    Adaptability: The flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions, customer
demands, and supply chain disruptions. The ability to make quick decisions and adjustments to ensure fulfillment goals are met
 
 
Education/Experience:
 
•    Experience in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field is typically preferred.
•    Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in fulfillment planning, inventory
management, and supply chain operations.
•    Familiarity with relevant software and tools, including ERP and TMS systems, is advantageous.
 
 
Physical Requirements:
 
•    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•    Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
