This role reports directly to the Director of Product or VP of Product
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for the delivery of the product vision, product project plans and product specifications to bring high-quality product features and enhancements to lifeResponsible for the product’s user experience and feature set development planning and communicationResponsible for the “zero to one” delivery of all new features. A Product Manager is ultimately responsible for ensuring the software built fills a need and is used by customers.Works closely with Product leadership to create product strategy documents and to write product pitch documents to present to business stakeholdersProactively act as Product Evangelist to build awareness of product areas within the organizationCommunicate complex customer and business needs in written specifications, business rules, flows and use casesUnderstand our customer and business needs and translate that knowledge into continuous product enhancements possibilitiesIdentify and analyze data and customer feedback/research to define problems, measure results, and prioritize competing opportunitiesWork with engineering to cultivate a backlog of incremental, deliverable pieces of work to advance the product.Anticipate bottlenecks and coordinate with technology teams to help prioritize the backlog and work-in-progress to best meet business needs, taking technical constraints and long term technical and product direction into accountCollaborate with the Director of Product, Product Owners, and Team Leads to continually execute against the product roadmapHelp to perform product acceptance testing, working with quality assurance, engineers and customersKnowledge and Skills:4+ years of software product or project management experience in SaaS2+ years of owning or working with the end-to-end product development cycle for the PayFac system, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and optimizationStrong knowledge and experience of software development methodologies and working within a software development life cycleAbility to bring creative problem-solving and an innovative mindset to challengesAbility to adapt and remain flexible to changing priorities and consider new ideas while having the business's success firmly in your focusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skillsData-driven decision makerExperienced with Agile/lean Delivery frameworksA passion for driving efficiency and quality metrics
