Campaign Specialist

Apex Leaders custom-recruits industry experts for our private equity firm clients. Through a bespoke process, we research, vet, and connect our clients with the most relevant, skilled advisors so that they can quickly and confidently navigate investment opportunities.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Campaign Specialist who will focus on driving interest and creating a pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team. This position requires an experienced marketer with a strategic mindset, attention to detail, and a data-driven approach to generating leads through campaign management .
We are open to this position being based at our headquarters in Boise, ID, splitting time working in the office and working remotely, or can be based remotely out of one of the following states: Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Florida, or Nebraska.

What We’re Looking For
For this position, we are looking for a rock star who will own data-driven and creative Sales and Marketing Campaigns. The mission of this role is to contribute to revenue growth by running sales and marketing campaigns that drive lead generation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Plan and implement sales and marketing campaigns across various channels (email, social media, paid advertising, content, webinars, events, etc.) to support lead generation, customer acquisition, retention, and sales objectives.
- Own campaign program enablement, execution, and support through our Marketing Automation system, Pardot, including planning and strategy, set-up, testing, list segmentation, workflows, emails, landing page, execution, reporting and optimization.
- Analyze and report on campaign performance and track key metrics (website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, etc.), analyze campaign performance, and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.
- Deeply understand the ideal customer profile (ICP) and buyer personas to create effective messaging and targeting strategies.
- Develop and oversee processes to guide leads through the sales funnel, using targeted content and automated workflows.
- Create scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign setup, conversion, nurturing, and database management.
- Assist marketers in making data driven decisions using reporting and analytics to improve and report on campaign performance
- Maintain database hygiene, perform data migrations, and create segments.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and communication regulations.
- Assist with the management of the full marketing tech stack.
What You Will Bring
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communication or similar or relevant equivalent experience required
Experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience in managing Sales & Marketing campaigns through marketing automation
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Strong understanding of marketing processes including campaign execution, Q&A testing, and conversion measurement
- Strong project management, planning, and organization skills
- Strong data analytics skills
Tools & Technology
- Marketing Automation Platform (MAP) tool (Pardot required, certification preferred)
- CRM Platform (Salesforce required)
- Web analytics (Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console)
- Project Management tool (Asana preferred)
- Website CRM (Word Press preferred)
- GDPR/CAN-SPAM/CCPA familiarity
- Nice to haves: Clearbit, Contentful, LeanData, Asana, Mutiny, Outreach Reachdesk, SEMrush, ABM tool (6Sense or Demand Base preferred), Webinar platform
