Job Description

The Software Developer is responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of software applications. These responsibilities include assisting with requirements gathering, coding, testing, installing, and supporting software applications. This position will work with project management to ensure that project deadlines are met and that the work meets user requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for high quality, bug-free development as per the coding standards in close collaboration and interaction with other members of the development/QA team.
  • Responsible for software development, testing and support.
  • Participate in daily project scrum meetings and provide daily personal status reports.
  • Create user documentation for completed solutions.
  • Work with support team to resolve production support issues.
  • Mentor the junior developers and help build knowledge base.
  • Participate in peer reviews.
  • Assist with technical documentation.
  • Consult with QA staff on strategies for testing specific work items.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary by management.
  • Contribute to the success of the organization by helping others accomplish job results; learning new skills needed by the team; finding new ways to help the team.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software full stack development and testing experience using .Net, NodeJS and Client-side scripting with a multitenant web application.
  • Experience with SQL (MSSQL, MySQL), NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Experience working with Angular/ReactJS.
  • Experience with Product Development
  • Azure development experience.
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes a plus.
  • Experience with Microservices is a plus.
  • Capable of system tuning, code optimization and bug solving.
  • Understanding of SDLC.
  • Familiar with source control principles and systems.
  • Working experience in agile team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer information systems or related field of study.

Salary Range

$115,000.00 - $135,000.00

Salary range represents the compensation Korn Ferry expects to pay to a candidate with the requirements for the job posted. Korn Ferry offers competitive compensation and benefits commensurate with experience.
