Job description

We're on the hunt for a Business Intelligence Analyst, Senior to join our HRIS department! This is a regular, full-time position that primarily works daylight hours, Monday through Friday. A perk of this position includes fully remote work arrangements!

The Business Intelligence Analyst Senior plays a critical role in identifying and driving strategic decisions across the Human Resources functions. This role leverages analytical, technical, and operational expertise to develop, implement, and manage business intelligence solutions to deliver key insights to HR leadership. Daily job responsibilities may include helping to set the strategic direction of business intelligence tools and processes within HR, and analyzing data to identify business process trends, opportunities and bottlenecks. Additionally, the analyst will build, implement, and maintain advanced reports and BI platforms.

The ideal candidate is a well rounded IT professional who enjoys the full lifecycle of building and owning technical solutions. They are proficient in a range of reporting tools such as PowerBI, SQL, Oracle Database, Cognos and Excel. They have experience with data modeling, ETL and data visualization. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development, execution, and management of advanced reporting
  • Compile and QA data utilized for periodic scheduled and ad hoc reporting
  • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
  • Identify trends that will help managers and executives make business decisions to improve outcomes/processes in the organization.
  • Develop deep understanding of data contained within multiple systems and detailed understanding of multiple HCM Cloud application modules
  • Work with end users to translate business requirements into technical requirements for advanced custom reports
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis to find solutions to business inquiries
  • Provide insight for process improvements across functional areas
  • Act as a liaison with co-workers on technical and data specialist teams to address issues
  • Develop and execute testing plans prior to the release of new reports.
  • Perform annual review of reports and dashboards for relevancy and enhancements
  • Participate in cross-functional projects that address key business initiatives.
  • Serve as resource and mentor for Associate and Intermediate roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Accounting or a related field required and 3 years of experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos, OTBI, BI Publisher, Cloud Analytics and complex data analysis required.
    • OR High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos, OTBI, BI Publisher, Cloud Analytics and complex data analysis required.
  • Advanced level of computer and Excel skills required.
  • Human resources/recruitment knowledge is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders preferred.

  • Act 34
