Senior Advisor, Rare Earth Materials (m/f/d)
EIT RawMaterials is currently recruiting one full-time Senior Advisor Rare Earth Materials. In this position, you will:
- Lead networking activities related to the full value chain of rare earths.
- Provide expert knowledge to support project portfolio management, incl. calls for proposals, proposal evaluation, project reviews, and startup calls.
- Develop business intelligence services related to commodity markets, technology development, materials criticality, supply chains, life cycle assessment.
- Secure direct contracts with industry as well as projects funded via HorizonEurope and national funding bodies.
- Support project related communication matters in close collaboration with project partners and the EIT RawMaterials communication team.
- Monitor and gather knowledge in respective materials related sectors.
- Monitor respective technical as well as policy and business-related developments on a global scale.
- Support the development of institutional relationships and identify synergies with other organisations.
- Develop publications and communication materials.
Requirements
- A PhD or equivalent working experience in a relevant field
- Excellent analytical skills
- A service oriented and customer focussed working mentality
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Advanced computer literacy with good knowledge of business software applications (MS Office)
- Ability to work efficiently and to tight deadlines
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
