About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Head of Finance to join our leadership team in Amsterdam and drive our financial strategy, operational efficiency, and business growth. This role offers a unique opportunity for a finance leader who’s as comfortable with hands-on financial operations as they are with big-picture strategic planning.

As Head of Finance, you’ll manage and develop a talented remote team of four team members based in the Philippines.
This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial finance professional with a track record in high-growth environments, who sees finance not just as reporting but as a vital engine for sustainable growth. You’ll collaborate closely with the company founders and department heads to provide the insights that empower their decisions, making Workwize a model for financial excellence in the hybrid workspace industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Financial Operations: Oversee all core financial functions, including accounting, invoicing, budgeting, and cash flow management, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and continuous process improvement.
  • Budget Control & Forecasting: Develop and monitor budgets and the budgeting process, supporting all departments in aligning financial resources with strategic goals.
  • Data-Driven Insight Generation: Create and maintain financial dashboards that provide timely, actionable data across departments, helping leaders make informed business decisions.
  • Strategic Partnering: Act as a trusted financial advisor to the leadership team, guiding company growth with strategic financial forecasting, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a remote team of four finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture that thrives on collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Stakeholder & Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with shareholders, banks, and external partners, providing transparent and compelling

financial reporting.

  • Annual & Monthly Reporting: Lead reporting processes and partner with auditors for the accurate and timely delivery of annual reports and figures.
