Job description

Role: Technical Business Analyst / Scrum Master
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 12 months
Work Hours: India Standard Time (3 PM – 11 PM IST)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can work from anywhere in India)

The experienced software technologist would help close the gap between the discrete, technical knowledge delivered by the Integrated Automation R&D team and the PSLs and the Operationalization of the technology on the EDGE. In other words, the candidate would help ensure that the technical algorithms are smoothly integrated with a software solution.

Responsibilities:

Technical business analyst/scrum master to manage the integration of the orchestration and optimization science into a software product, including:

Direct and support the EDGE software team in alignment with the integrated-automation technology roadmap and algorithm release.
Define and prioritize a software feature list for the software product, in collaboration with the technology manager and the technical contributors.
Evaluate the software features against the product requirements and operationalization needs for closed-loop automation and real-time decision-making.
Validate that the developed algorithms follow best coding practices.
Be responsible for coordinating complex integrated systems with engineers from multiple disciplines.

Must Haves:

Understanding of Agile Development Process is a must.
The candidate should have a general understanding of drilling processes (on-bottom drilling, hydraulic management, tripping,…) as well as be able to identify relevant dysfunctions and opportunities for improvement within a software technology stack.
