About the job

We are Fool’s Theory, a company from Bielsko-Biała in Poland, creators of the game Seven: The Days Long Gone and The Thaumaturge.
We are actively seeking skilled individuals to join our team to work on a project developed in cooperation with CD PROJEKT RED.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating a team of quest designers, helping schedule workloads (daily, weekly, and for every milestone).
  • Overseeing and coordinating the work of the Quest Team, with cooperation with the other Narrative Leads and Design Director.
  • Cooperating with all Content Teams in delivering high-quality pieces of narrative content.
  • Leading team in quests prototyping.
  • Mentoring and providing the Quest Team with feedback.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • At least one AAA title published.
  • Independence in planning and performing tasks.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to clearly convey constructive feedback and display willingness to work in a group.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Imagination, creativity and the ability to transfer knowledge to others.
  • Ability to solve problems as they present themselves.
  • Ability to work in a structured and organised manner.
  • Work experience with RPG elements in PC/Console video games.
  • Knowledge of modern solutions and trends in narrative design.
  • A narratively analytical approach to games.

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine and Blueprint scripting skills.
  • Experience with pen & paper role playing systems.
  • Participation in game jams.
