Arkos Health is seeking a Hybrid or Remote Senior Data Analyst with expertise in HEDIS/STARS Data analytics.


Please note: Must reside and be fully authorized to work in the US.  **We are seeking remote applicants, preferably in Arizona, Arlanta, Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Texas, Vermont or any state except California, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Massachusetts and Washington. 

 

How You'll Make a Difference: 


The Quality Senior Data Analyst at Arkos Health, will play a pivotal role in driving quality improvement initiatives through detailed analysis and interpretation of HEDIS and STAR data. This role requires a detail-oriented, data-driven individual passionate about transforming data into actionable insights to support business decisions and enhance health outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of value-based care models, quality metrics, and health plan data requirements. The Quality Data Analyst will work in close collaboration with clinical, operational, and provider teams to implement data-driven strategies that elevate STAR ratings and support NCQA accreditation efforts.


    Quality/HEDIS:

    • Complete quality metrics analysis and Improvement: Analyze HEDIS and STAR data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for enhancing quality measures.
    • NCQA Accreditation Support: Ensure accuracy and completeness of data submissions, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards to support NCQA accreditation efforts.
    • Measure Optimization: Identify key HEDIS measures requiring attention and collaborate with clinical and operational teams to develop and implement targeted improvement plans that drive better quality outcomes and member satisfaction.
    • Data Validation and Audit Preparation: Conduct thorough data validation and prepare for annual HEDIS and STAR audits, ensuring data meets regulatory requirements and supports the organization’s quality objectives
    • Predictive Analytics for STAR Rating Improvement: Utilize predictive analytics to forecast potential STAR rating outcomes and implement targeted interventions to achieve and sustain desired scores.
    • Dashboard and Report Development: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Salesforce, or similar platforms, providing real-time insights to stakeholders across the organization.
    • Recommend and implement best practices for data management and reporting.
    • Data Pipeline and ETL Development: Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytical solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability of data infrastructure.
    • Engage in hands-on development activities, including coding, scripting, and system configuration, to implement data solutions, develop custom applications, and address technical issues effectively.

    Qualifications and Skills: 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • HEDIS and STAR Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of HEDIS and STAR quality measures, NCQA accreditation requirements, and healthcare quality improvement practices.
    • Proven expertise, with at least 4 years (6 years+ preferred) of hands-on experience in healthcare data analytics, including Tableau visualization and report building with the integration of in cloud technology and Salesforce reporting/dashboarding or native and CRMA functions
    • Expertise in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages, demonstrating the ability to design and develop complex data solutions
    • At least 4 years of experience working with claims, member, provider, and prescription data aspects of healthcare data.
    • Ability to multi-task, shifting back and forth effectively between two or more activities or sources of information
