Job description

Ark Solutions Inc is looking for Salesforce Application Testing Specialist!

Position: Salesforce Application Testing Specialist
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 3+ Months and possibility of extension

Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Salesforce Application Testing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defect resolution within our Salesforce applications, ensuring high-quality code development, executing unit test scripts, and providing daily status updates. Your expertise in Salesforce development and understanding of Agile methodologies will be crucial in delivering effective solutions that meet our business needs.
 
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
  • Defect Resolution: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in Salesforce applications, ensuring minimal impact on users and operations.
  • Salesforce Development: Collaborate with development teams to write and modify Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components as needed to support defect resolution and feature enhancements.
  • Unit Testing: Develop and execute comprehensive unit test scripts to validate code functionality and ensure adequate code coverage. Ensure tests cover various scenarios, including edge cases.
  • Agile Methodologies: Participate in Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve defects in alignment with Agile principles.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of defect resolution processes, testing procedures, and results. Create user and support reference guides as needed.
  • Status Reporting: Provide daily status updates on defect resolution efforts, code development, and testing progress to relevant stakeholders.
 
Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Salesforce and strong understanding of Salesforce testing methodologies and practices, with experience in developing unit test scripts.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and participation in Agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex defects efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
