BUSINESS UNIT

At HRS we understand Finance as a value-enabling function as it is an essential ingredient to our business success.

In order to ensure the efficient financial management and financial control necessary to support all business activities, it comprises all major related responsibilities: from Financial and Cash Flow Management, Accounting, Advising and longer-term financing, Tax Management, Investment Management, to Purchasing, Controlling, Budgeting and Forecasting as well as Financial Reporting and Analysis to assisting and challenging the CEO, Business Unit Leaders and Managers in making key strategic decisions.

The department is set up as a shared service for the HRS Group with a cross-location team of around 50 experts, headed by the CFO and his Management Team, working on standardized workflows to increase efficiency on the one hand and apply state of the art decision-making tools and principle-based recommendations to foster organizational resilience in times of rapid change.

POSITION

We are looking for an experienced, engaged and ambitious Financial Controller (all genders) to join a fast growing organization with a dynamic, fast-moving management team.

CHALLENGE

  • Take ownership of the financial controlling and financial steering of a business unit
  • Challenge the status quo, drive performance and insight
  • Improve and monitor KPI’s for steering the business
  • Modeling of scenarios and long-term planning; budgeting together with BU
  • Control and continuous improvement of the monthly closing, the forecast and the yearly budget planning process
  • Deviation Analysis and commenting as well as deriving recommendations for action
  • Present and challenge in BU Management meetings
  • Consulting of internal stakeholders
  • Be part in cross-departmental projects and initiatives

FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration with a focus on finance and controlling or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in Business Controlling within a SaaS company highly appreciated
  • Advanced skills in transforming excel models to the next level e.g., bring them to the BI/Data Warehouse Layer
  • Growth mindset, experience in hyper scaling, hands-on mentality, attention to detail, strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and trust with all levels in an organization
  • Good presentation skills und ability to create spot-on / actionable presentations
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge with ERP systems would be appreciated (SAP, Navision)
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE

This is a remote position located in Germany. The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual bonus.
