Job description

Job Title: Senior SAP BTP Architect (Contract)

Location: Remote with occasional onsite (if required)

Contract Duration: 6-12 months, with potential for extension

Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BTP Architect with deep expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will bring significant experience designing, implementing, and managing complex SAP BTP solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to architect, strategize, and guide the integration of SAP BTP across the enterprise, ensuring high performance, scalability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture: Design, architect, and implement SAP BTP solutions, leveraging services such as SAP Extension Suite and SAP HANA Cloud.
Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction for SAP BTP projects, including best practices for BTP integration, cloud-native development, data management, and security.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into robust SAP BTP solutions that align with enterprise architecture.
Integration & Data Management: Design and execute complex integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP integration services, ensuring data consistency and optimal performance.
Innovation & Optimization: Leverage SAP BTP services to enhance and extend existing SAP landscapes with innovative solutions that improve efficiency and adaptability.
Governance & Compliance: Ensure all SAP BTP solutions comply with company policies, data governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Create detailed documentation, technical specifications, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to support team members and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years in SAP environments with at least 5 years of experience specifically in SAP BTP solution architecture and implementation.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of SAP BTP services, including SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Extension Suite.
Proficiency with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and SAP Fiori development on BTP.
Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Cloud, data modeling, and data integration.
Strong knowledge of SAP BTP security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
Certifications: SAP BTP Architect certification or similar is highly desirable.
Tools: Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Web IDE, and other SAP cloud development tools.
Project Management: Experience in Agile or DevOps environments, with the ability to manage project deliverables and timelines effectively.
