This is an exciting opportunity to join the Avantor organization as Inside Sales Account Manager and play an important role in our Sales Team in Denmark. The role involves managing all sales activities, from lead generation to closing within Denmark using a structured selling approach. The Inside Sales Account Manager will identify priority accounts and develop strategies and tactics for high-growth opportunities. Collaboration with sales and support teams is essential to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals aligned with the company’s business strategy. The role also involves analyzing customer needs, identifying solutions, and creating tailored customer solution plans.
This is a full-time opportunity with hybrid working mode (3 days onsite in our office in Søborg).
What we’re looking for:
- BA/BSc or equivalent in a Life Science, Chemistry or Business discipline (or proven understanding of the laboratory environment) is preferred
- Experience in a complex b2b sales environment using a solution based selling approach
- A track record of verifiable sales success driving growth with a consultative, strategic selling approach
- Experience / scientific background with demonstrated ability to effectively utilize best in class selling processes and technology platforms including CRM Tools
- Strong negotiation skills essential
- Good time management skills
- Fluent level of Danish and English languages
How you will thrive and create an impact:
- Selling the VWR product portfolio including chemicals, consumables, equipment & instruments, chromatography, life science, safety & PPE, production and catalyst services across Denmark (mainly via phone or MS Teams)
- Drive new and existing opportunities by managing customer accounts appropriately to maximize number of valuable phone interactions.
- Partner and support the sales and other teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company business strategy
- Increase competitive advantage and drive customer satisfaction by building trust and developing partnership relationships
