Your profile

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing detailed test plans, developing automation scripts in Selenium using C#, and meticulously documenting issues to maintain our software's high quality standards. Collaborating closely with developers, Product Owners, and other team members, you’ll apply QA processes tailored to productDNA’s goals and contribute to creating reliable, high-performance solutions that support traceable, sustainable product journeys.

Your Responsibilities

  • Requirements Review: Analyze requirements, specifications, and design documents, providing timely feedback to ensure effective test coverage aligned with productDNA's goals.

  • Test Plan Development: Create structured, comprehensive test plans and test cases, emphasizing automation to improve testing efficiency and coverage.

  • Testing Prioritization: Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities to align with project timelines, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.

  • Automation Design: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with C#, supporting continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

  • Bug Management: Identify, document, and manage bugs effectively, working closely with developers to resolve issues quickly and ensure quality.

  • Regression Testing: Conduct thorough regression testing to validate resolved issues and confirm new changes do not impact existing functionality.

  • Process Improvement: Implement and refine QA processes that support productDNA’s quality standards and agile roadmap, focusing on efficiency and accuracy.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, the Product Owner, and other team members to define system requirements and implement comprehensive test coverage.

  • Debugging Process Monitoring: Track debugging processes to validate fix effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Quality Metrics Tracking: Report on key quality metrics (e.g., defect densities, open defect counts) to assess and maintain software quality standards.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with emerging testing tools, frameworks, and best practices, continuously enhancing testing methods within the productDNA environment.


Your key skills and experience 

  • Experience: At least 3-4 years of experience in software quality assurance, focusing on automation and scripting.

  • Automation and Scripting Expertise: Proficiency in developing automation scripts in Selenium using C#.

  • QA Methodologies Knowledge: Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and best practices for automated testing within Agile frameworks.

  • Testing Techniques: Skilled in both black-box and white-box testing methodologies.

  • SQL and Scripting Knowledge: Proficient in SQL and scripting for effective database and application testing.

  • Agile/Scrum Experience: Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum development processes, aligning QA activities with iterative development cycles.
