THE MISSION
We are seeking a hands-on Rigger to contribute to the creation of rigs for characters, NFT Armors, and NFT Weapons. You will also work with other artists, animators, and engineers to maintain the character pipeline as well as finding creative solutions for common everyday technical problems. This is a full-time, remote position that can be done from anywhere in the world with a good internet connection.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create animators friendly rig for various type of characters
  • Skin and weight all meshes and maintain a high level of deformation quality
  • Create and maintain cloth sim data on different characters
  • Work collaboratively with animators, character artists, and concept artists to ensure design and assets are suitable for rigging
  • Works with the Lead Technical Artist to ensure that all rigs meet the game’s requirements
  • Provide technical support for artists in Maya and Unreal Engine

  • REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, animations, and scripting 
  • 2+ years of experience in games development
  • Extensive knowledge of Autodesk Maya
  • Experience with coding/scripting in Python
  • Experience with Unreal Engine pipeline
  • Great Communication and Organizational skills
  • English. Upper-intermediate level

  • DESIRABLE
  • Experience in tools development in Python
  • Experience with PySide2 or PyQt5
  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine Blueprint
  • Understanding of FACS for facial animation
