Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and implement Data Warehouse and Data Lake architectures to support large-scale data analytics and business intelligence solutions.
  • Lead as a technical reference for Data Analytics solutions, providing expertise in the development of data models, integration strategies, and best practices.
  • Create and define data repository models, ensuring they are aligned with business requirements and scalable for future needs.
  • Develop strategies for data acquisition, information retrieval, and implement data processing pipelines for efficient data storage, transformation, and availability.
  • Support technical decisions in the Big Data ecosystem, ensuring optimal selection of tools and technologies for data processing and storage solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data ingestion processes, data cleaning, data security, and data availability for diverse consumers across the organization.
  • Identify and mitigate potential technical risks based on analysis and recommendations from support teams and stakeholders.
  • Support and enable performance testing and optimization of data processing pipelines and storage solutions.
  • Assist in the migration of data from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering or data analytics roles, with a strong focus on Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.
  • Extensive experience with SAP Data Architecture, including integration with SAP HANA, SAP BW, and cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proven expertise in data modeling, data pipeline development, and data repository management.
  • Strong knowledge of Big Data ecosystems, including technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with ETL processes, data ingestion, data security, and data governance.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies, particularly the movement of data from legacy systems to modern cloud-based solutions.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize data solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on scalability, performance, and data integrity.
  • Experience in performance testing and optimization of data engineering workflows.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.
  • Since this role involves aligning with international clients, advanced English proficiency is required to ensure effective communication, understanding, and alignment with clients from diverse geographical regions.

About The Role

  • Working hours: 40 hours per week
  • Contract type: Independent Contractor
