Legal Content Analyst (Family Law)

About the Role

As the Family Law Legal Content Analyst, your roles and responsibilities will be the following:

  • Design, own, and execute the content upkeep process for the Family Law practice areas

  • Perform legal research and editorial tasks associated with updating existing Family Law content

  • Monitor current awareness and stay abreast of changes in law

  • Draft or revise content, including templates, practice notes, and checklists

  • Oversee and execute Family Law content remediation projects focused on improving the customer experience

  • Acquire a firm understanding of editorial processes / style guidelines and enforce best practices

  • Improve operational effectiveness by standardizing and streamlining processes, creating documentation, and making recommendations for continuous improvement in editorial workflow

  • Meet or exceed production and quality requirements

  • Participate in training as required and perform additional tasks as assigned

Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position must:

  • Have a Juris Doctorate degree and two+ years of practice experience in family law

  • Demonstrate strong analytical, legal research, and writing skills

  • Be adept at maintaining an organized workflow while ensuring accuracy through close attention to detail.

  • Have knowledge of Chicago Manual of Style and Bluebook citation rules 

  • Be able to prioritize and meet critical deadlines 

  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing business demands 

  • Show interpersonal and communication skills
