Job description

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Telemarketing Representative to join our team. This entry level position is responsible for supporting Henry Schein's sales efforts by fostering and maintaining strong customer relationships through targeted outreach and inbound inquiries.

Please note: The work schedule for this position is 8:00AM - 4:30PM EST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Strive to achieve established sales goals

  • Handle outbound calls to customers while effectively managing inbound inquiries

  • Cultivate relationships with both active and inactive accounts to generate sales opportunities

  • Maintain a daily average of 4 hours of talk time and complete a minimum of 70 outbound calls

  • Demonstrate high levels of performance of meeting profit dollar standards

  • Update and maintain current customer records in our systems, including by logging activity and managing necessary account changes

  • Utilize company systems (CSS, COE, and JDE) effectively for sales and customer management

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and best practices

  • Participate in special projects and support division-specific initiatives as needed

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

  • Data entry

  • Computer skills required

  • Strong communication skills required

  • Very good attention to detail and accuracy

WORK EXPERIENCE: 

Typically 2 or more years of related experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: 

Typically High School education, vocational training and/or on-the-job training. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
