Please Note: Whilst this is a remote role, candidates must be able to work eastern or central time hours.
Your Role on the Team:
We are looking for a Senior Proposal Manager with public sector experience to drive all aspects of the development of compelling, high quality, and compliant State and Local government proposals. This position manages the full proposal development lifecycle including RFP analysis, proposal management plans, schedules, content reviews ensuring 100% compliant responses, conducting color reviews, and working with production through delivery.

What You Will Do
Collaborate with senior executives, management teams, stakeholders, BD leads, innovation staff, partners, subject matter experts, and external consultants to provide proposal leadership and support.
Drive the development and submission of high-quality, compliant technical proposals from pre-RFP activities through final production and close-out processes.
Analyze RFPs and develop compliance documents, outlines, formats, and final products in collaboration with the Technical Lead.
Develop proposal sections for non-technical areas, including management, past performance, and staffing, and manage the schedule for all color reviews and final production.
Assist in assembling proposal writing resources, identify potential for graphic input, and monitor the development of business/pricing proposals to ensure alignment with technical proposals.
Serve various functions throughout the proposal process, such as compliance matrix developer, section author, draft reviewer, red team reviewer, and subcontractor interface.
Manage or support preparation for interviews/oral presentations, often handling multiple proposals simultaneously.
Continuously assess and improve processes and techniques, and may manage people, process improvement workstreams, or special projects.
What You Will Bring With You
Minimum 8+ years of professional experience.
5+ years of proposal management experience, which must include leading the preparation, development, and production of state & local government proposals.
Proposal editing and writing experience.
Experience with MS365, including Teams and SharePoint.
Bachelor’s degree.
What We’d Like You To Bring With You
Proven track record of leading the preparation, development, and production of successful, high quality, high scoring proposals.
Experience managing State and Local and commercial proposals and processes remotely.
Familiarity working with geographically disparate teams.
APMP foundation certification or be willing to undertake.
Bachelor’s degree with a specialization in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$92,986.00 - $158,076.00
