Description
The Design Engineer is responsible for providing high-quality service and evaluating customer’s requests in all customers technical spaces, including, but not limited to central office, wire centers, and designated enterprise spaces. The Design Engineer is required to take excellent care of our customers, build relationships, question things, and take action, work hard, work smart, and enjoy the experience. The Design Engineer should be able to work independently and be able to perform duties with little to no direction.

Receives and analyzes input documents from customer or field engineer, paying close attention to critical dates and detailed information supplied.
Completes construction designs in customers CAD/GIS platforms, meeting or exceeding quality and timeliness standards.
Compiles Customer Required Documentation/reports To Meet Deliverable Requirements.
Utilizes engineering judgement to ensure design is the most efficient for cable placement and safety for construction services.
Assist in updating procedures as required to meet customer or equipment requirements.
Assists field installation groups in resolving technical issues.
Attends customer held meetings, when needed.
