Salary: Up to £50,000 + 17.5% bonus + £6000 Car Allowance

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday

Location: London / South East as priority with flexibility to work from home

What you'll be doing;

  • Lead the development of proposals for new growth opportunities in the sorting and recycling sector ( i.e. plastic recycling, glass recycling) by interacting with internal Subject Matter Experts and the supply chain.

  • Maintain a complete understanding of the sorting and recycling plants’ (those assigned to you) performance at all times. 

  • Identify saving initiatives and prepare the feasibility studies for continuous improvement and optimisation projects for the sorting and recycling assets, and present them to manager and operation for approval.

  • Lead on the technical designs of new recycling facilities, including concept technical solution development, costing, performance guarantees from suppliers by interacting with internal and external stakeholders.


 

What we're looking for;

  • Experience in engineering background (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Electrical) or in waste management and recycling sector 

  • Experience in developing feasibility studies and projects’ business cases 

  • Experience in project planning, development and management skills

  • Relevant experience in sorting and recycling process or similar industry (i.e.aggregates processing) 

  • Excellent skills in writing and delivering high quality reports and presentations.

  • Ability to manipulate data to produce complex reports.
