Tax Specialist

Our client, a premier industry leader is seeking a Tax Specialist to join their team. As a Tax Specialist, you will be part of the tax department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Sales and Use Tax, strong research skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with Viewpoint software would be a plus.

Location: Menasha, Wisconsin (Remote)

Pay Range: Based on experience

What's the Job?

• Research Sales and Use tax laws and compliance utilizing State and local websites and research tools
• Maintain accurate tax information on initial job startups and make updates as tax changes arise
• Process new project startups and maintain project master data
• Assist with the preparation of Sales/Use tax returns and audits
• Prepare tax exempt certificates and manage annual property tax bills
  
  
  

What's Needed?

• Associate Degree in Accounting
• 2 to 4 years of Finance and Tax experience, specifically in Sales/Use tax
• 5-10% travel required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule between 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strength in Excel. Experience with Viewpoint software is a plus.
