Job Description

In this exciting opportunity within Arqiva you will play a key role within the Utilities Supply Chain, ensuring the on time ordering and supply of technology is met to successfully meet demand generated by multiple national utilities infrastructure customers.

Location - Hybrid working with 2 -3 days per week on site at Emley Moor, Huddersfield

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Provide a point of contact and assignment for customer orders relating to Smart Metering and Utilities services.
  • Retrieve and distribute monthly forecasting information to the necessary stakeholders.
  • Transfer customer order information into Purchase Requisitions accurately to enable automatic file transfer into endpoint database systems.
  • Ensure order approvals are processed to get Purchase Orders to the suppliers on time to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Track orders and returns and perform necessary admin to provide accurate information of the status of orders and location endpoints throughout their lifecycle.
  • Initiate supporting processes that may need finance to process billing or refunds.

Must Haves

  • Experience in order processing
  • Experience in returns management using purchase-to-pay cycle
  • Experience managing/working with multiple customers
  • Experience of supplier liaison/management
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to perform a number of tasks concurrently and manage own time
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Good communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel
  • Confident and adaptable nature

Might Haves

  • Collation of information for monthly reporting purpose
  • Experience within Supply Chain Administration
