Job description

About Champify

Champify surfaces when previous customers, champions, and users change jobs - so you can build pipeline, increase win rates, and expand with people who already love your service, and prevent churn by monitoring when key contacts leave and join customer accounts.

About The Role

Champify is building the future of B2B revenue generation - a platform for Sales Intelligence that helps sales and marketing teams leverage pre-existing warmth to build new pipeline and strengthen customer relationships. B2B revenue growth is changing - no longer can teams rely on mass cold outreach to strangers. It’s crucial to find and prioritize warm relationships. By combing through and interpreting first-party, third-party and public data sources, Champify surfaces crucial context on the people that buy and use your software so that sales and marketing can drive efficient and sustainable growth. You'll help us expand our product offerings, both with additional development for our enterprise functionality, and crafting our product led growth engine. We're looking to bring on a full-stack startup engineer with shipping experience across the entire web development stack (HTML/CSS/JS + any backend). Most importantly, you should have a proven ability to turn ideas into reality. We believe cold outbound is dying and sellers aren’t working efficiently. Our first product, Champify Track, helps revenue teams by surfacing job changes in Salesforce. This helps customers focus on existing relationships instead of sending emails to and cold-calling uninterested, new prospects. We’ve introduced multiple products in just the last 6 months: Calendar Sync, Exec Arrivals, Referrals, and have plans to release many more in the coming months. The customers in our target market are seeing that the old ways of prospecting new business and selling to customers (e.g., mass emailing cold contacts) simply do not work. This is why it’s so important that you have the interest and ability to jump into a new problem space, absorb the key facts, and propose creative ideas. Past experience is less important to us than the will to challenge yourself and grow. Our backend runs on Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Prisma. Our customer-facing product runs inside of Salesforce as a managed Apex application. Experience with any of these technologies or tools is a plus, but not required.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Iterate, improve, and expand our existing product suite
  • Define the culture and best-practices of our engineering team
  • Interview, onboard, and mentor future engineers

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications: You've shipped products in the context of a small team and know how to move fast You enjoy talking to users, understanding their problems, and designing solutions that they'll clamor for You seek out challenges and aren't afraid to stretch your comfort zone You've worked with a variety of technologies (on both the frontend and backend) You’re familiar with- software development practices such as CI/CD, version control, code review, etc. Bonus: You have sales tech, CRM, or data acquisition product experience
