About Theorycraft Games

Based out of Seattle & Los Angeles, Theorycraft Games is an independent game studio looking to make deep, 10,000-hour games that are intended for play with friends.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will possess: - 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer or DevOps using modern technology (L2 / 3-5 yoe okay - more about skill than strict YOE) - 5+ years of experience with Python or C++(L2 / 3-5 yoe okay - more about skill than strict YOE) - Strong experience developing in a cloud environment, ideally AWS, with a solid understanding of cloud security best practices. Desired Skills: - Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.) - Strong experience implementing crash reporting pipelines (Sentry, Crashpad, Breakpad, etc.) - Experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Terragrunt) - Experience with third-party API integration, ensuring secure data exchange and adherence to privacy standards. - Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment. - Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (Datadog, Grafana) - Experience with endpoint and antivirus software (Microsoft Intune, MalwareBytes, Crowdstrike) - Experience administering IT SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, etc.) - Experience with the gaming industry is a plus.
