Be a part of our 9-week Internship Development Program, where you will have the opportunity to apply knowledge gained through your college courses. Becoming an Investment Analytics Intern is a great way to enhance your business acumen and gain insight into our industry. Interns are placed into meaningful roles that have an immediate and integral impact on the business.  The internship will be based in our Nashville, TN office and will run from June 2, 2025, through August 1, 2025. You must be available for all 9 weeks of the program.

Fortitude Re's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Department works to manage and control risks to Fortitude Re's capital and future earnings through active risk monitoring and analysis, business oversight, strategic assessment of current and emerging risks, and implementation of business controls. We focus primarily on financial market risks, insurance risks, operational quality assurance, technology risk and continuity, and compliance with insurance accounting requirements.
 
As an Enterprise Risk Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the team and contribute to important risk management initiatives, helping to identify and mitigate potential risks across the organization. This position provides a solid foundation for building a successful career in risk management and offers valuable exposure to the reinsurance industry.
 
What You Will Do:
  • Collaborate with ERM teams to support various business functions within Enterprise Risk Management.
  • Work with internal SMEs on key initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of risk reports, including risk assessment findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in meetings and discussions relating to risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the ERM team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
What You Will Have:
  • Must be a rising Senior currently pursuing a bachelor's degree as a rising senior in actuarial, risk management, quantitative finance, IT/technology or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn and use analytic software packages, data visualization tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
